When my photographer and I were looking for a good location to serve as a backdrop for this all-white feminine look, we didn’t know exactly what we’d find. But we figured that driving around the historic neighborhood of Lockeland Springs in East Nashville would yield favorable results. Amazingly, we stumbled upon this gorgeous baby pink Victorian and overgrown garden that looked like it belonged in England. We didn’t know that we would find, but it was far better than what we could have imagined.

This week I’m thinking about finding joy in the unexpected. Life has a lot of surprises, and they may not all be what we want, but in embracing the unknown, we find our subconscious expectations to be surpassed.
